Juvenile Justice Center Workshops
Teenagers who have trouble with the law and with authority are in need of life skills that give them an understanding of who they are, where they belong in the world and how to build a successful life. The training and understanding the teenagers acquire will help them make better choices in the future and limit their chance of a repeat offence. The teenagers will beg for more of the practical ways for them to be successful!
We provide practical insight for the teenagers, such as life skills, conflict management, problem solving, understanding how authority works, building positive relationships, why respect matters, what if you believed, etc. The training builds self-confidence, pride and a belief that they can make a positive difference in their world. It is not that teenagers cannot succeed. It is because they do not believe they can. We focus on changing their belief system from negative to positive.
